Exclusive – Manvir Singh to join Mohammedan SC

Manvir Singh all set to join Mohammedan SC

Manvir, who signed a one-year contract with Jamshedpur FC during the summer transfer window after his contract with Northeast United FC expired, has failed to find playing time with the Red Miners. With Javier Siverio and Jordan Murray playing the majority of the minutes, Manvir has struggled to get minutes at the club. For a young player seeking to make an impression and establish his abilities, he has only made one appearance this season and played four minutes, which is not ideal.

Manvir Singh
Manvir Singh signed for Jamshedpur FC in the transfer window but has struggled for game time.

Mohammedan SC is currently the league’s lowest-scoring team, with only five goals scored in thirteen games. They’ve only scored twice in their previous eight games, adding to their offensive difficulties. One of the major reasons for the struggles was their inability to replace David, who departed the club to join East Bengal. David was their highest Indian scorer last year, with 11 goals and three assists across all competitions.

Mohammedan SC’s season so far

Mohammedan SC
Mohammedan SC are currently bottom of the league with just 6 points from 13 games.

The promotion to the ISL did not go as planned for Mohammedan SC. After a few close defeats, it appeared that victory against Chennaiyin would make things better, but now things have gotten worse. With only 6 points from 13 games, Andrey Chernyshov would hope that Manvir’s arrival will provide him additional alternatives off the bench and some much-needed goals to win games.
